The Israeli born Cantor Hemi Levison finished his studies in the “Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance” in 2012 with a double Bachelor in Classical singing and Teacher education. Since then he was living in Berlin and working as a freelance Musician and Cantor. From January 2025 he is the Cantor in the Jewish congregation in Braunschweig. Parallel to his work, he is studying for his official ordination in the “Nathan Levinson Stifftung” in the “Louis Lewandowski Seminar”.
