I was born 1984 in Budapest, Hungary, but lived in Germany for the next 10 years. After finishing high school I first studied German and English linguistics, later classical Hebrew linguistics. During this time I started to work as a layleader in a liberal community in Budapest. After graduating I started cantorial studies at the Abraham Geiger College and graduated in 2024. During my studies I had internships in several liberal and traditional Jewish communities in Germany, Hungary, Belgium, Poland and Israel. Currently I‘m the cantor of the federal state of Thuringia and work mostly in the city of Erfurt. Beneath Jewish liturgical music I‘m also very much interested in Yiddish language and culture, especially music.
